Biography

A life of presence

Chaplain Dorcus Cater, MDiv., BCC, is a Board Certified Chaplain whose ministry is built on one conviction: that professional, compassionate presence changes how people move through the hardest moments of their lives.

Her vocation spans hospice suites, hospital trauma bays, veterans' wards, and corporate offices — wherever people face grief, crisis, moral injury, or the quiet weight of being human. She meets every person where they are, without pressure or judgment.

As founder of Boss Chaplain, LLC, she brings that same standard of care to organizations and individuals: spiritual care that is clinically informed, deeply respectful, and unafraid of the hard conversations.
